Having a love of the great outdoors as well as photography it's no wonder I feel slightly jealous of Cory Richards, National Geographic Photographer.
I first heard of Cory during a flight to Malawi whilst watching an in flight documentary about National Geographic Photographers having the best job in the world, where he was documenting some first attempts (climbing) in the ant-arctic, his first project for Nat-Geo. I was inspired then and I'm even more inspired now having seen this video. In this extract of a presentation, Cory describes, with good humour, how he went from Grade 'A' student to high school drop out to using climbing to rebuild his life. Now he's a telling the stories of many people, cultures, science and history through his passion for photography and adventure.
Definitely worth a watch even if you know you'll never have a job like that.
